This is the AOC base that you might have overlooked for your aviation service

As we travel to European destinations under license of our Guernsey, Channel Islands AOC, we always know that one of the top three questions we’ll hear when speaking with new Clients and prospects is “Why Guernsey?” or “Why 2-REG?”.

There are several answers to these questions and all point to Guernsey as a registry that will play a growing role in European aviation service.  Our own experience here has proven many of the promised benefits as well as provided a foothold for growth in a market that continues to expand.

Here are some things we think you should consider if you’re looking for a mutually beneficial AOC partnership:

Guernsey is a neutral, semi-autonomous state with a long history of political stability that we think can serve as an anchor for your own business stability. As such, an added benefit are the efficient tax rules they operate under which help you offer aviation services at a competitive cost.  This last point can’t be underestimated as we find that one of the primary issues we hear from clients across the region are tax related concerns and difficulties.

Furthermore, Guernsey’s pragmatic approach to regulations is a breath of fresh air in an industry that sometimes seems to enjoy being bogged down in fine print and process.  You’ll find that their approach makes compliance efficient, and dare we say…easy. And they do it all with the support of a worldwide network of safety oversight inspectors which is both helpful and cost effective.

On a lighter note, we were also pleased that there is a bit of creativity involved when it comes to their 2-REG nationality mark which they promote as a unique mark for personalized combinations.  We are always happy to see our 2-AVCO mark as our Challenger 850 takes off and lands at various European airports.

Consider Guernsey. It delivers a full service model for your aviation service, offering a complete array of aviation support for your enterprise including banks, insurance, legal and accounting service providers.  We did, and we’re pleased with the result.  And no… they didn’t ask us to write this!
